I'm so tired of all of the family shit that's going on around me now. I love my parents very much and am very grateful for everything they've done for me, but I can't be around the constant negativity and bitterness that swarms around the family. If I do, I am destined to repeat history and become exactly what I don't want to be - a bitter lonely person who can't seem to find anything good to say about anything.
I don't need the guilt trips or the psycho babble. I shouldn't feel like I have to suit up in armor when I visit my parents to shield myself from the underhanded, unnecessary digs that are thrown out about the other side of the family. I know that shit rolls down hill and this stuff has been passed on, generation to generation, but I refuse to be part of it. It sucks because it cuts me off from things and people I truly care about but if I stay around and bite my tongue I am only doing what's been done in the past.
I have no idea what went on before today but for some reason, I'm being punished for something I have no control over. I have not witnessed any of the despicable, horrible things that have supposedly happened to make the family this way... Leave me out of it. I just want to be able to RELAX and ENJOY the rare time I have with family. Not dread it! Everyone else does this... Why can't you? Why do you have to dwell on stuff that probably doesn't even matter anymore?
I am only concentrating on the future and even though the other side is far from perfect, they don't put me in a position where I feel like I have to be on the defensive.
I'm disgusted by the holier-than-thou attitude coming from people. Maybe if you took a step down from your throne, you'd see that you've made yourself completely unapproachable... If it's not your way, it's the wrong way. People can hear your rude comments and see your eyes rolling. You're not fooling anyone.
I'm so fed up with people telling me how I should feel without trying to get a glimpse of my point of view. This isn't how family should make you feel and the so-called "bad guys" come out looking pretty good with all of the shit you've put on me.

Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone!
Yay! 4 day weekend in about 8 hours... I am so counting down to sleeping in with warm fuzzy kitties and warm fuzzy Billy. 4 days without work stress. 4 days to do whatever the hell I want. The only thing I will do is stay the hell away from malls and any other retail establishments... especially on Black Friday (groan). Have a great holiday everyone! XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO :)

Don't Placate Me
Look, there is so much that is seriously wrong with this organization... The sooner you address the issues, the faster we can work together, united as one, to build sales and move forward as a strong team. As we are now, we're going to continue to struggle and I hate to say it... but most sane people would not stick around to suffer in this shit situation. Even in this economy! Too much drama. Too much under-appreciation. Just Too Much in General.

Stupid Fucking People
I have no idea who will end up reading this so I want to make sure I stay PC since this is work-related...
FUCK THOSE SHIT HEADS IN THE OTHER STORE. They are disorganized. They have the shittiest attitudes around. They're sloppy, dirty pigs. They have no comprehension of what "Please" and "Thank You" mean. We are constantly cleaning up their messes and pushing our work back to help them out.
Anyone who has the nerve to even THINK about asking people to work Friday after Thanksgiving on Monday before (only 3 days notice on a holiday week!!!!) can kiss my ass. No appreciation is ever shown so why should anyone go out of their way to help you?

Stab Paper Clips in my Eyes, Please!
The big one... She's been reading the fucking vampire series by Stephenie Meyer (Twilight) and she won't shut up about the books. She even brought them in and read them at her desk while she was supposed to be doing work. Like blatantly set up camp at her desk while all of us were buzzing around, working our asses off. Well, today is opening night and she's wearing a fucking teeny bopper shirt and we're listening to the shit pop soundtrack from the fucking movie. I mistakingly told her about Trueblood on HBO and now she tries to yap about it constantly to me... Even though I told her that I don't have a chance to watch it until it's OnDemand the next day... I have to get up to open the store on time... I have yet to see her get in here on time, EVER. I guess tomorrow won't be an exception - the movie is a midnight showing. FAT LAZY BITCH!!!! I just need to take a deep breath and concentrate on the things in my life that make me happy because otherwise I will go off on her. If this sad teenage shit makes her happy, than so be it... But I wish she would shut the fuck up about it!

Innapropriate email from employer...
THIS PISSED ME OFF SO FUCKING MUCH TODAY!!!!!!!!!!
Politics shouldn't be brought up at a work place... especially by one's employer!!! I guess he thought it was cute...
Notice to All Employees
As of November 5, 2008, when President Obama is likely officially elected into office, our company will be required to instill a few new policies which are in keeping with the new President’s issues of change and fairness:
1. All salespeople will be pooling their sales and bonuses into a common pool that will be divided equally between all of you. This will serve to give any of you who are under achieving a "fair shake."
2. All other workers will be pooling their wages, including overtime, into a common pool, dividing it equally amongst yourselves. This will help those who are "too busy for overtime" to reap the rewards from those who have more spare time and can work extra hours.
3. All top management will now be referred to as "the government." will not participate in this "pooling" experience or any other consequence of our new policies because the law doesn't apply to us since we voted to exempt ourselves.
4. The "government" will give eloquent speeches to all employees every week, encouraging you workers to continue to work hard "for the good of all.
5. As employees, you will be thrilled with these new policies because it's "good to spread the wealth." Those of you who have underachieved will finally get an opportunity; those of you who have worked hard and had success will feel more "patriotic."
6. The last few people who were hired should be prepared to clean out their desks. Don't feel bad, though, because President Obama will give you free healthcare, free handouts, free oil for heating your home, free food stamps, and he'll let you stay in your home for as long as you want even if you can't pay your mortgage. If you appeal directly to our Democratic Congress, you might even get a free flat screen TV and a coupon for free haircuts(shouldn't all Americans be entitled to nice looking hair?)!!!
If for any reason you are not happy with our potential new policies, you may wish to comment. However, all negative comments will be immediately classified as “Attacks” and “Mean Spirited”. Perhaps we may all want to consider how rhetoric that sounds good may actually affect us if it is put into practice. And then go vote on November 4th.

so true
Understanding, caring for one another... It's so important!
“The addict has been found not to want to be an addict, but is driven by pain and environmental hopelessness… As soon as an addict can feel healthier and more competent mentally and physically without drugs than he does on drugs, he ceases to require drugs.”
-L. Ron Hubbard
